Adriana was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia.  Bogota is located in the eastern Andes on a plateau known as the Bogota Savanna, where the elevation is 8,600 feet from sea level.  It is a populous city with over seven million people within its city limits. Its climate is similar to Seattle’s, as it remains relatively cool year round.  Bogota is a multicultural city that supports many events that cater to all backgrounds and ethnicities.

Growing up in Bogota, Adriana was active in her school choir and also volunteered on several associations that denounced animal cruelty.  Some of those associations objected to bull-fighting and animal traction transportation.

She moved to the United States and decided to pursue a degree in Veterinarian Medicine.  She chose Oklahoma State University because of its great reputation in the discipline of veterinarian sciences.  She obtained her degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician and has worked as a Vet Nurse in the field of anesthesia for patients in Oklahoma City and Woodinville, Washington.

However, while in Oklahoma, she also sold residential real estate for ten years; serving the people of the Oklahoma City metro area with care and compassion.  Her love for people and animals, with the goal to make the world a better place, is a driving force in her life.

Though Adriana is passionate about her real estate career, veterinary medicine, and animal causes like sanctuaries and shelters, she has other interests as well.  She enjoys hiking in the Seattle area, with Lake 22 being one of her favorite hikes because it is both challenging and scenic.  She enjoys traveling, especially overseas.  She started traveling at a young age and enjoyed the experience of learning about other cultures.  She describes it as a mind/soul changing experience that helped to form her world views.  Countries she has traveled to include: Colombia, Italy, Germany, Spain, England, Thailand, Taiwan, Venezuela, Panama, Mexico, Austria, and Brazil.  She also enjoys dancing, especially salsa dancing.  She loves to be the life of the party when there is music involved.
